Slither
“I’ll wear a mask for you”
And cover my every flaw,
Wear that heavy coat,
Stick stiffly to the law.
Comb my hair all right,
shave for every morn,
Man your every fight,
cheer for our newborn.
Help you cook then clean,
pay the monthly bills,
honeymoon by seas,
vacation in the hills.
Then merry-you in age,
healthy and carefree,
I’ll love you all my life,
If you’ll only let me be.
