Khaki Diem
Pink and purple post-its, aggregate a sea,
their lawyer-doctor scribbles are a hundred notes to me.
Things to do and things to say, where and at what time,
These little squares of wisdom are a secondary mind.
I primarily use them, to keep my thoughts apart,
Bullet points and hyphened lists are always a great start.
When I’m done I shred them, and watch them as they fall,
Sometimes I wonder why I’m so eager to forget about them all.
