Seeking curious people
Preferably endowed with large eyes
Dark of hair,
And unwavering stare -
Must be curious about most things
But preferably curious about everything.
Not young and not old
But just young enough to be irreverent
And old enough so one hesitates to offend -
By staring back.

You will be positioned in public places
As the need arises
To present passers-by with your inquisitive gaze.
Occasionally you will be contracted by franchises,
To enhance a shopper’s experience in-store.
We’ll put you in buses, the subway
And the library too
Everyone that you stare at
Could be staring at you.

We’ll pay you by the hour,
But unbroken stares get bonuses
Especially if accompanied by a scowl.
